I wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the efforts of Karen DiVico and Missy Flint. Your agency is the third agency I have had a home owners policy through. The last two were only interested in my paying the most I could to increase their commissions. I am convinced that I have found an agency that actually cares about the customer. I know that Karen and Missy both worked many hours to insure that they identified the best policy with the best coverage and at the same time managed to lower my premium nearly $1,500.00 from what Edison Insurance was requesting from me through an Agency here in Naples. My policy was expiring on April 1, 2009 which was the day I contacted your office. Karen was able to get an engineer to do a wind assessment the next day. I worked with Karen and Missy for two days and they were able to get me bonded with Olympus Insurance by Friday April 3rd. I was surprised to get a call from Missy after 7 PM on Friday April 3rd letting me know they found a check box checked on the Olympus form (indicating I had an outside structure) which I do not. By not checking this box, I know Missy/Karen managed to save me another couple hundred dollars. "Dear Tim:

I have been a client of yours for over four years now.  Your firm insures several rental properties for me, my personal condominium, and two vehicles, my jet ski and will soon cover my boat, an additional property and a new business. I am writing to you to relate an extremely positive insurance claim experience.

My Porsche Boxster sustained damage to its electrical system as a result of a plugged drain line in the convertible top compartment.  Overtime, this plugged drain allowed rainwater to flow into the vehicle and settle upon the floor pan.   While I thought this would be a relatively minor repair, upon inspection the Porsche dealer in Naples, Florida estimated the damage to be $4,000 - $6,000. Why German engineers would place electrical components on the floor of a convertible is still unknown to me. 

On Tuesday September 9, 2008 at 3:52 PM I e-mailed your Sandy Salazar explaining my possible claim.  Within 3 minutes Sandy had responded to my e-mail providing contact telephone information for my insurance carrier, Traveler’s as well as the policy number.  Two minutes after that e-mail Sandy called to confirm that I had received the information.  Sandy is always a joy to deal with.

At 4:15 PM that Tuesday I called Traveler’s to report the claim.  I was truly impressed with the both how professional and empathic the claim’s representative was.  She took all of my info in a matter of minutes, provided me with a claim number and an adjustor’s name and telephone number.

On Wednesday, September 10, 2008 the service writer from Porsche of Naples called me to tell me that Traveler’s had dispatched an adjustor that morning and that an agreed value for repairs had been settled upon.

On Thursday, September 11, 2008 at 9:16 AM (about 41 hours after my original call to your office – really only about 9 business hours in total) a claim’s adjustor in Tampa called to confirm my mailing address as they were sending me a check that day for the agreed amount of the claim less my deductible.

Your staff and your providers have truly impressed me once again.  Would you please forward this letter to your contact at Traveler’s?"
